Festival of the Lea 1

Festival of the Lea

Artist and community-led cultural festival Festival of Lea takes place in Enfield. The festival is created to celebrate Enfield’s integral waterway, the River Lea, by decorating a stretch of the canal with artistic creations.

For this event, the organisers used our traditional tabloids to create event programmes which they gave out to the visitors.

When asked about the response, the designer Amy says “It’s brilliant!”

The display was found between Enfield and Chalk Bridge and opened for Enfield residents, the creative community, and wider London audiences.

''It was so fun to see an idea come to life and for the hard work of everyone involved to come together in one stylish document.''

SLC Unveiled 1

SLC Unveiled

SLC Unveiled showcases photographers of Salt Lake City on our traditional minis. It covers the different aspects of a very recognisable city, giving the readers different perspectives and angles.

Luis Canelon says, “It felt as the most accessible and grounded medium for people to enjoy the work on display.” He also commented on the newspaper saying that they really enjoyed the thickness of the paper

The best thing about the experience, he says, was “designing a layout that would showcase the images and their inner thoughts.”

"The outreach for the community has grown exponentially and in turn, invited more people to join said community."

Legacy paper

The Legacy Paper

The Legacy Paper was created for HWA AG, a leading car engineering company, for the Goodwood Festival of Speed 2024. Printed on our Traditional Broadsheet, it celebrates HWA's heritage and expertise in motorsports, marking its success in the Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters.

Max Semmler says, “Distinctive Newspaper Boxes were designed to promote the Legacy Paper at Goodwood,” and that “almost all of the papers were gone after the Festival.”

The history of HWA, founded by Hans Werner Aufrecht,  is highlighted through this tribute newspaper.

''Best part for us was editing and designing it.'

Dubs South Campout 2024

The small festival, Dubs South Campout, in Hampshire created their welcome books with our minis. The festival is a family-friendly celebration of German engineering legend - the VW Camper, and the Great British Summer Time.

Andy Welsher comments on the welcome books, saying “it added a bit of depth, storytelling, and richness to the visuals we've created.”

''I love the tactile qualities of newsprint and the informality it can bring to an execution which really plays on the style of our festival.''

Kenzo Parfums

Kenzo Parfums worked with creative agency NWB to create their impact report and showcase the brand's commitments to social and environmental responsibility. The report was printed on our digital broadsheets, creating a visually impactful and thorough report.

Benjamin Parienté says, “It highlights their dedication to sustainability, ethical practices, and positive community involvement, demonstrating how they integrate these values into their business operations and long-term strategies.”

He continues, “We chose to produce this report in a newspaper format to utilise a fully recyclable medium and ensure a strong visual impact.”

They’ve received plenty of positive feedback and are more than satisfied with the outcome.

"The large canvas and flexibility of a newspaper layout provide unique opportunities, enabling us to captivate readers and communicate messages more effectively.''

The Girl Friends Project 1

The Girl Friends Project

The Girl Friends Project, created by photographer Natalia Dolan, celebrates the power and significance of friendships among women. Launched in 2018, this project combines photography and social science to highlight how strong female friendships contribute to healthier, happier, and longer lives. Through candid portraits, the project captures the energy, trust, and mutual encouragement found in these relationships.

The stories shared are uplifting, funny, memorable, and, at times, heartbreaking. The Girl Friends Project emphasises the importance of nurturing these relationships, reminding us to be good friends in return. The launch received widespread media attention, including features in Global News, Best Health Magazine, and CBC Radio.

The newspaper created for this project, printed on our traditional tabloids, serves as a heartfelt tribute to the art and science of women's friendships.

"Seeing and touching artwork is incomparable to looking at it online. Especially with photographs of people.''
